Original intended GUCCC pairing with motor no 105, Aynho.

1948: Passed to BW on nationalisation and transferred to maintenance fleet by 1965.

1978: was supposed to be broken up at Bulls Bridge but apparently Berkhampstead was broken up instead by mistake.  To cover up the mistake, Ayr was renamed to Berkhampstead, the identity it still carries.  (Note, the name on the boat is currently mis-spelt BERHKAMSTEAD, but licensed as BERKHAMSTED!).

In private ownership since 1982, although hired for some time to Union Canal Carriers, Braunston.  Currently in a rather run-down state.
