Dan has been involved with boats for over 40 years, mainly around Langley Mill, where he now runs the boatyard with his wife Vikki and brother Tom. Currently, he is part owner of Meteor and Judith Ann, and lives aboard a former pair of Hotel boats Oak and Ash, whilst teaching his two young daughters the finer points of historic boat maintenance and boatyard management.
Outside the world of boats, Dan moves theatre shows around the UK, and world, as a production carpenter. Currently he is also working on a project to build a steel replica of the former Anderton motor Norway.
