1978-1987 Traded as part of the Midland Canal Transport partnership. In 1982, travelled from Middlewich to Northampton via the Shropshire Union with Seaford and Lynx, carrying a one-off cargo of road salt, which attracted significant publicity at the time but did not lead to any regular work.
Was owned by the then Chairman of the Shrewsbury & Newport Canals Restoration Trust and featured in much of their publicity material. Often seen supporting the Trust at events on the Shropshire Union, Llangollen and Montgomery Canals
