Revolution Laundry - for people who are reliant on laundrettes while boating, or who wish to wash large items like duvets and blankets, you may not be aware of a fairly new chain of laundrettes.  These are typically situated in garage forecourts, supermarket car parks and shopping centres, but the big advantage is that they are available to use 24/7.  So, if you are moored close to one for the night, you can do the laundry while going to the pub, or shopping, for example.  Each laundry has a small (8/9kg) and large (18/20kg) washer and a tumble drier (18/20kg), so the large one is good for washing duvets.  See https://www.wash-megroup.com/en-uk/ for further information and to find a laundry.  Many are quite close to canals. (Richard Booth, Sept 2023)
