Damian Kemp, CRT's Boating Consultation & Communications Manager, has appealed for more boaters to get involved in their boating-buddy scheme:
"Earlier this year we started a trial 'boating buddy' programme whereby kindly boaters offered to take Trust staff out for a small trip. It's a win-win for all concerned - we get a better understanding of a boater's perspective and boaters get to interrogate staff! All Trust staff who have done this (including Richard Parry) have thoroughly endorsed it so we're now encouraging more staff to do this.
