Originally intended GUCCC pairing with motor 123, Bristol.

1967 - Union Canal Carriers Ltd of Braunston – worked as a camper, often paired with Bexhill.

1983 - Bexhill and Brighton were sold to James Warrior, both working as campers at Rickmansworth.

1983 - Threefellows Carrying – both boats based on the River Soar at Thurmaston, used on the gravel trade.

1990 - Brighton sold, in private ownership

1995 - The Narrow Boat Trust Ltd acquired Brighton
