Originally intended GUCCC pairing with butty 351, Satellite.
In the 1950s, Star became BWB's trip boat Water Rambler - the top bends at the fore end were cut off and the foredeck made lower to allow the passengers to see forwards better. It was used as a kind of early hotel boat, but the guests stayed in B&B accommodation as the boat itself had no sleeping accommodation. The fore end has since been rebuilt.
Lister HR2 fitted in 1971.
