Venus

Originally intended GUCCC pairing with butty no 352, Saturn - a prototype wooden pair of boats built at Woolwich but with cabin work completed at Tring. The butty Saturn is not the same boat as the Shropshire Union Fly Boat Saturn.

9/1943 - Sold to River Severn Catchment Board, Gloucester

by 1970 - Sold into private ownership and converted to pleasure boat

1978 - Rebuilt at Middlewich and conversion cabin removed

2016 - with part under-cloth conversion
