This section contains information about the four boats that were built for the Erewash Canal Carrying Co, an autonomous subsidiary of the Grand Union Canal Co (not GUCCCo) until nationalisation.

The Erewash boats were built 1' shorter than the similar Star Class boats of the GUCCCo, to enable them to pass through the then-shorter Zouch lock on the Leicester line.
